Chicken Cordon Bleu
Chicken Cordon Bleu.
-2 chicken breasts butterflied and tenderized between 2 layers of plastic wrap.
-4 pieces of prosciutto, (or 2 pieces of your favorite deli ham)
-2 tbsp Dijon mustard.
-1 tbsp @choczero maple syrup. (

-3/4 cup of seasoned @porkkinggood crumbs.
– 2 slices Havarti cheese.
– 2 slices @jarlsberg_ Swiss.
– 1 cup vegetable oil for frying.
🔹Butterfly and pound thin 2 chicken breasts between 2 layers of plastic wrap.
🔹Spread 1 tbsp of mustard on each chicken breast.
🔹Spread 1/2 tbsp @choczero maple syrup on top of the mustard.
🔹Transfer the breast on to a new piece of plastic wrap.
🔹Break up the slices of cheese in 1/2 and lay them out alternating cheeses.
🔹Add 2 pieces of prosciutto to each breast.
🔹Use the plastic wrap to tightly roll up the chicken.
🔹Heat vegetable oil to 350° in a pan on the stove.
🔹Dip the rolled chicken in to egg, then generously coat with the @porkkinggood crumbs.
🔹Fry on all sides until golden brown, about 4 mins to total.
🔹Bake on a wire rack at 350° for about 10-12 minutes. Let rest for 1 minute.
🔹Slice and serve!
