Not sure why I didn’t make these earlier with my @porkkinggood crumbs, but I’m glad I finally did!  So crunchy, just like the real breaded onion rings:)
.
.
.
This is what I used for
 ðŸ”¸1 Maui onion. .
.
Breading:
 ðŸ”¸1.5 cups of @porkkinggood crumbs.
🔸1.5 tbsp @flavorgod garlic lovers.
🔸2 tsp paprika.
🔸1/4 tsp cayenne.
🔸1/2 tsp salt.
🔸1 egg plus 1/4 cup egg whites to dip in.
🔸1/2 cup oat fiber. (If you don’t have this you can skip this step or use any light flour)
.
.
.
.
🔹mix up the crumbs and the seasonings in one bowl.
🔹Dip each onion ring in egg dip first, then the oat fiber, egg again, then coat with the crumb mixture. .
.
🔹Heat vegetable oil in pan (about 2 inches deep) to 350° or at medium heat.  Fry each ring until golden brown.  About 3-4 mins.
.
.
You want the oil to bubble when you drop the breaded onion ring in. .
